Ehinger Kraftrad was founded in 2008 by Uwe Ehinger and Katrin Oeding.

‘Kraftrad’ – because ‘Motorrad’ generally means mass-produced goods and Ehinger deliberately develops and produces in small, limited quantities. With the standards of a factory: technical perfection, corporate reliability and loyalty, diligence, discipline, and creative courage.

Uwe Ehinger has decades of experience as a racing- and sports-bike rider, as a globetrotting retailer with rare bikes and parts and, not least, as a hobby mechanic and developer.

Katrin Oeding is a highly decorated designer and responsible for every aspect of Ehinger Kraftrad’s look and feel. So not just visually, but also the corporate side.

Ehinger Kraftrad devises design concepts for bikes with perfect, sometimes unique and technologically innovative solutions – all realised with precision, high quality and minimalist design. In close cooperation with selected partners.
